मैसूर का गौरवशाली स्थान और भारत के सबसे अधिक देखे जाने वाले आकर्षणों में से एक, मैसूर पैलेस एक अविश्वसनीय मानव निर्मित इमारत है। यह एक महलनुमा संरचना है जो भारत के जटिल और पेचीदा अतीत के कई किस्से बताती है। यह महल कभी शक्तिशाली वोडेयार शासकों का शाही निवास था, जिसने सात शताब्दियों तक मैसूर पर शासन किया था।

मैसूर पैलेस 1912 में वोडेयार राजवंश के 24 वें शासक के लिए बनाया गया था और इसे देश के सबसे बड़े महलों में गिना जाता है। मैसूर महल का निर्माण महाराजा कृष्णराज वाडियार चतुर्थ ने किया था और इन्हे महात्मा गाँधी द्वारा राजऋषि (संत राजा ) की उपाधि दी गयी थी |

Mysore's proud possession and one of India's most visited attractions, Mysore Palace is an incredible man-made edifice. It is a palatial structure that tells many tales of India's complex and intriguing past. This palace was once a royal residence of the mighty Wodeyar rulers, who ruled Mysore for seven centuries.

Mysore Palace was built in the year 1912 for the 24th Ruler of the Wodeyar Dynasty and is counted amongst one of the biggest palaces in the country. The construction of the Mysore Palace was orchestrated by the Maharaja Krishnaraja Wadiyar IV referred as "Rajarishi" (saintly king) by Mahatma Gandhi.
